Marvel's Captain America: The Winter Soldier is only a month away, and we have a first look behind the scenes at the close relationship between the characters of co-stars Chris Evans and Scarlett Johansson, who reunite for the first time after the action of Marvel's The Avengers. Watch the video and share!
"We try to push the envelope with each film and it's fun to be a part of that," says Scarlett about being a part of the Marvel franchise.
Picking up where Marvel’s The Avengers left off, Evans is back as Steve Rogers/Captain America, the former World War II super soldier (who was frozen in suspended animation) who is now struggling to fit in the modern world. In the new movie, he teams up with S.H.I.E.L.D. agent Black Widow/Natasha Romanoff (Johansson) to battle a powerful yet shadowy enemy in present-day Washington, D.C. – the return of his former best friend, Bucky Barnes (Sebastian Stan).
"Cap and Black Widow are very different people; it's kind of like this odd pairing," explains Evans. "She has very questionable morality and she makes a living lying, and Cap wouldn't do it if he tried."
In theaters April 4, Captain America: The Winter Soldier also stars Robert Redford, Hayley Atwell will return to play Peggy Carter, Cobie Smulders, Georges St. Pierre, Toby Jones and Maximiliano Hernández.
