Amy Smart and Bridesmaids star Wendi McLendon-Covey interview each other about their new Tyler Perry film The Single Moms Club.
ET recently put The Single Moms Club stars Amy Smart and Wendi McLendon-Covey up to the task of interviewing each other in Los Angeles, where Amy revealed that she's definitely up for more Tyler Perry-directed films!
"Well, I would say that now that I feel like I'm in the family [of Tyler Perry films], I would like to be in more Tyler Perry movies!" she told Wendi enthusiastically. "That would be really fun. I loved working for him. So I'd like to be invited back, Tyler, please?"
And though the two gals had plenty of laughs on set, Bridesmaids scene-stealer Wendi got serious for a second when asked about "sisterhood" in Hollywood.
"I think you always need your girlfriends, alright, and you always need a support group," she said. "I think in Hollywood especially, because it's so unlike other industries, where we really are pitted against each other a lot of times. I think it's important that other actresses have their girlfriends that they can go out with, and vent to, and say, 'You know what? It's all crazy but, we chose to be here, so ... let's all just kind of get through it together.'"
