Peter Jackson's The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug arrives on 3D Blu-ray Combo Pack and Digital HD Tuesday, and we have an exclusive clip from the bonus features in which Orlando Bloom geeks out over donning his Lord of the Rings Legolas wig and ears for the first time in years for his return to Middle-earth! Watch and share...
"It was a very surreal moment to get back into the role, yeah," says Orlando. "Picked up a bow and arrow, seemed to still have it, which was kind of cool."
Part two of the epic, three-part Hobbit saga follows Martin Freeman's Bilbo Baggins, the wizard Gandalf (Sir Ian McKellen), Thorin Oakenshield (Armitage) and his band of dwarves as they journey to Lonely Mountain to battle the dragon Smaug (Cumberbatch) and reclaim their untold treasures. Legolas (Bloom) and fellow elf Tauriel (Evangeline Lilly) track the dwarves after they escape the elven woods and become embroiled in the quest.
