Reunited, and it feels so good! Comedians Tina Fey and Amy Poehler are going to be sharing the big screen once again in Universal's comedy The Nest.
According to Buzzfeed, the women will both produce and star in the film through Fey's production company.
The NBC stars will play 30-something sisters who find out their parents are selling the home they grew up in. In an effort to reclaim their youth and their link to the past, the girls spend one last wild weekend partying and learning to really grow up. Is this the female version of Step Brothers?
The film will be directed by Jason Moore, who previously helmed the acclaimed musical comedy Pitch Perfect.
As fans of Fey, 43, and Poehler,42, know, the two are real-life pals and frequent co-stars. The 30 Rock star and Parks and Recreation actress have co-hosted the Golden Globes twice already, and have appeared on the big screen together in both the 2008 comedy Baby Mama and the 2004 teen comedy Mean Girls, which Fey wrote. In addition, they also served several seasons together on Saturday Night Live where they co-hosted Weekend Update.
What do you think of The Nest? Could this be their funniest project yet?
