Jamie Foxx Reveals Electro Vocal Inspirations In 'Spider-Man 2'

Jamie Foxx may be in Berlin to celebrate the release of his new film The Amazing Spider-Man 2, but that doesn't mean he's too busy to FaceTime with ET's Nancy O'Dell.

While O'Dell was in hair and makeup getting ready for taping, Foxx and her managed to share a few moments talking about the upcoming superhero thriller, and Foxx revealed where he got the inspiration for his villainous character Electro's voice.

"I learned how to get my character down by watching a little bit of Clint Eastwood to get my voice," said the 46-year-old Oscar winner. "And also a little Alec Baldwin because I consider him the great whisper In movies."

In the film, Foxx plays one of Spider-Man's main villains, the sinister and unhinged Electro, who can control and manipulate electricity.

, starring Andrew Garfield, Foxx, Emma Stone, Dane DeHaan, and Paul Giamatti, swings into theaters May 2.
