In The Amazing Spider-Man 2, Oscar-winner Jamie Foxx plays the electricity-powered villain Electro, whose blue skin courses with powerful electric energy. However, on the red carpet at the film's New York premiere on Thursday, it's was Foxx's daughter Annalise who went blue for the occasion.

Done up by some Hollywood make-up artists to look like her dad's character, little Annalise was the adorable center of attention while her superstar father carried her in his arms down the red carpet.

"She was on the set, actually dressed as Spider-Man, so it was really cool," said Foxx, 46. "To watch my daughter dressed as Spider-Man while I'm dressed as Electro on set, that’s what it's all about."

And while they may play villains in the movie, Foxx and Spider-Man star Andrew Garfield are actually quite close in person.

"[Foxx] is a soft, tender heart. And it's so, so beautiful to be able to work with someone so talented," said Garfield, 30.
