The Hollywood Reporter's Senior Editor Marc Bernardin told us that the film takes place 30 years after Return of the Jedi left off, which could provide clues about the new character additions.

"The prevailing wisdom is one of these actors is playing the child of Hans Solo and Princess Leia," said Marc.

Actors John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson, and Max von Sydow are joining the cast.

Billy Dee Williams (Lando Calrissian) was missing from a cast announcement and photo released yesterday, but could John Boyega be playing his son?

"It's possible he could play the son of someone we've seen before," said Marc. "I don't think so."

For the original cast, Stars Wars was life-changing, as Harrison Ford told us in 1982, saying, "The most significant thing was not the money but the opportunity to work."

Time will tell how the movie affects this new generation of characters. Watch the video for more.
