Samantha Morton plays the title character of Decoding Annie Parker, whose happy life is disrupted by her discovery of a lump in her breast which turns out to be deadly carcinoma -- a fate her mother and sister succumbed to. At the same time, geneticist Mary-Claire King is working hard to prove that there is a link between DNA and cancer. Together, the two remarkable women defy the odds with humor, determination and grace and wage a 15-year battle against the cruel and insidious illness.
Also starring Aaron Paul, Alice Eve, Rashida Jones, Maggie Grace, Bradley Whitford, Richard Schiff, James Tupper and Marley Shelton, Decoding Annie Parker is in theaters and On Demand Friday.
