Must-See Films Hitting Theaters Friday!

Don’t know what to see at the movies this weekend? Well, ET is sharing what you need to know about a few of the films hitting the box office!

Jon Favreau, Robert Downey Jr., and Scarlett Johansson are teaming up on the big screen again. But this time it isn’t for Iron Man, it’s for the food-inspired comedy Chef. Favreau writes, directs, and stars in the flick based on a restaurant chef who gets fired for his expletive-laced Twitter exchange with a food critic and decides to take his culinary skills on the road in a food truck.

The film is jam-packed with A-List stars including Academy Award winner Dustin Hoffman, Modern Family star Sofia Vergara, and Moulin Rouge’s John Leguizamo.

If comedy’s not your thing, the true-life crime drama Devil’s Knot is based on the notorious triple-murder of three 8-year-old boys that took place in West Memphis in 1993. The film focuses on the mother of one of the victims, played by Oscar-winner Reese Witherspoon, and the private investigator, played by Academy Award winner Colin Firth, who is searching for the truth.
