Ben Affleck's Batman and Batmobile Revealed!
Zack Snyder, the director of the untitled Man of Steel sequel that teams up Superman with Batman, released the first photo of Ben Affleck as Batman alongside his new Batmobile! Just yesterday, Snyder teased that he would unveil the Caped Crusader's iconic ride, showing it partially covered by a tarp, but there was no mention of Ben as Batman himself! The new costume look is more muscle-bound and, of course, as brooding as ever...
Posting the new photo today on Twitter, the director simply wrote, "I shot this with my @Leica_Camera M Monochrom. #Batman #Batmobile #Gotham." The film begins production this week in Detroit.
New Interview: Gal Gadot 'Very Excited' for Role as Wonder Woman
While Batman has finally been exposed, the film's title and plot still remain a mystery. All we know is that Ben is Batman and Henry Cavill will reprise his role as Superman, while a supporting cast includes new faces Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Jeremy Irons as Bruce Wayne's loyal butler Alfred, and Jesse Eisenberg as supervillain Lex Luthor. The expanded cast of characters also paves the way for the firstJustice League movie, with Snyder officially confirmed to direct.
The Untitled Superman/Batman movie is scheduled to fly into theaters in May 2016.
