It was date night for Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie Wednesday at the premiere of Maleficent. But, things took a turn when Brad was attacked by a man who had hopped over the barricade.
Just what happened exactly?
The fans came out in numbers to the Maleficent premiere to see Brad and Angie, so naturally, one of the two super stars had to stop by to sign a few autographs. That job went to Brad Wednesday night.
So after posing for a few pictures with Angie the hunky actor made his way over to sign autographs for a few fans. That is when Ukranian Journalist Vitali Sediuk hoped over the blockade and got close to Brad. Shortly after hopping over, Sediuk was restrained by security and taken into custody later by police while Brad was pulled back and whisked away by body guards.
ET was with Angie around the time the attack on her man occurred and she revealed why Brad was chosen to sign autographs. “There were just a lot of fans,” she said. “I had get pulled to do some of this so he's finishing signing.”
Brad isn’t the first A-lister Vitali has had contact with before. In fact, just last week he was the man responsible for going under America Ferrera’s gown at Cannes Film Festival.
