Angelina Jolie Opens Up About Brad Pitt's Red Carpet Run-In With Prankster

We've heard what Brad Pitt has to say regarding his run-in with notorious red-carpet prankster Vitalii Sediuk, now Pitt's fiancée, Maleficent star Angelina Jolie, is speaking out for the first time.

"He was fine. He's a very strong man and he handled the situation perfectly," Jolie said of Pitt and his encounter at the Hollywood premiere of Maleficent on May 29.

According to Pitt, Sediuk, an ex-reporter for a Ukrainian television network with a long history of pulling weird and wild stunts on star-studded red carpets, jumped over a barricade and tried to grab the actor.

Sediuk was immediately detained and arrested. Will incidents like this keep Jolie and Pitt from signing autographs and meeting fans?

"People like [Sediuk] are an exception to the rule. Most fans are just wonderful," Jolie said. "We've had a wonderful experience over the years, and are very grateful for their support. It will not change the way we behave."
