ET Throwback: The 1984 'Ghostbusters' Premiere

Who ya gonna call? Thirty years ago on June 8, 1984, Ghostbusters opened in theaters nationwide and became an instant classic. In celebration, we've got vintage red-carpet footage from when ET was front and center at the film's opening day premiere in Hollywood, with Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd and Rick Moranis in attendance. Watch the fun reactions as we ask the stars -- including Sylvester Stallone and Richard Pryor -- if they believe in ghosts!

"What an exciting night in show business this is," proclaimed Murray, clearly being facetious for the camera.

The stars in attendance at the Ghostbusters premiere is an incredible snapshot of the early '80s, with guests that included (along with Stallone and Pryor) Superman star Margot Kidder, Brat Packer Emilio Estevez, National Lampoon's Vacation star Beverly D'Angelo, Cheers cherub Shelly Long, Brat Packer Rob Lowe with Little House on the Prairie girlfriend Melissa Gilbert, Columbo himself, Peter Falk, The Nanny's Fran Drescher and Aykroyd's wife, Bosom Buddies and Doctor Detroit star Donna Dixon.

They ain't 'fraid of no ghosts!
