Kristen Wiig is making her directorial debut!
According to Variety, the Saturday Night Live alum is directing a buddy comedy that she's co-writing with Bridesmaids partner Annie Mumolo. Wiig and Mumolo will also star in the film as best friends, according to the news source.
"We're very excited to be writing," Wiig and Mumolo said in a statement to Variety. "We will be going into a cave for months to finish. An actual cave. We found one that's nice and big. We're putting a couch in there."
Wiig and Mumolo found tremendous success with Bridesmaids, which grossed $288 million worldwide and earned them an Oscar nomination for the screenplay.
