Before she became an Academy Award winning actress, Renee Zellweger was an extra in 1993's Dazed and Confused alongside another future Oscar winner, Matthew McConaughey. If you blink you might miss her but Zellweger is one of the high school girls in the now iconic scene in which McConaughey's character Wooderson proclaims, "I love high school girls. I get older and they stay the same age."
In 1981 Bruce Willis had a non-speaking role in the background of The Verdict starring Paul Newman. The Die Hard actor is almost unrecognizable in Newman's climactic courtroom speech which was filmed in one long unbroken take.
Many young stars get their start on television and that was no exception for a 17 year-old Leonardo DiCaprio who appeared in a 1991 episode of Roseanne. The actor would eventually have a recurring role on Growing Pains before becoming the five-time Oscar nominee as we know him now.
Leo is just one of the leading men featured on this list which also includes Brad Pitt, who made a very brief appearance in Less Than Zero in Robert Downey Jr. (four years later who would gain recognition for his steaming role in Thelma & Louise), and George Clooney who may be difficult to spot as an extra in 1978's Centennial mini-series.
