Marvel

Finally, we get a look at Paul Rudd and Michael Douglas in this long-awaited Marvel project.

Comic fans who have long been anticipating the upcoming Paul Rudd-starring Ant-Man movie were given a little treat at Comic-Con with the release of the film's awesome illustrated poster.

Feature the multi-sized capabilities of the eponymous super-hero, the poster also gave us a look at what Michael Douglas and Paul Rudd look like in comic-book form, so that was neat, too!

The film stars Rudd as a con man and petty thief named Scott Lang who ends up having to help scientist Hank Pym (Douglas) to keep his latest invention out of the hands of evil forces.

The invention? A substance that allows the user to decrease greatly in size, while increase massively in strength.

creator Edgar Wright had long been attached to the project, but dropped out earlier this year allegedly due to conflicts with Marvel execs. Rom com director Peyton Reed – who helmed The Break-Up, Down With Love, Bring It On, and Yes Man – took over the project soon after.

The long-awaited Ant-Man is scheduled to hit theaters July 17, 2015.
