Scarlett Johansson as Lucy Takes Down Dwayne Johnson as Hercules
It's a battle of the brain versus physical strength. Both Lucy and Hercules were anticipated to be summer blockbusters. The opening Friday night ticket sales result is in, and Scarlett Johansson as Lucy is outperforming Dwayne Johnson as Hercules.
According to Variety, "Lucy opened to a higher-than-anticipated $17 million and is headed toward a strong $45 million debut weekend. Meanwhile, Hercules grossed $11 million on Friday on track for a $30 million launch."
In the film Lucy, Johansson plays a superhuman who is drugged to access more brain power, and she becomes less human as the drug takes over her body. Morgan Freeman costars with Johansson and plays a Professor that is only able to hypothesize about such brain power.

Using physical power to save a princess, the character of Hercules is played by Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson. Hercules is an action-packed movie about the mythical Greek hero and son of Zeus. This movie is based on Steve Moore's Radical Comics book.
