The rumors are true. Chris Pratt is the best.

The 35-year-old actor dropped by the L.A. Children's Hospital on Wednesday to give the kids in the facility a special screening of his movie Guardians of the Galaxy -- but he took it a few steps further.

Pratt decided to show up dressed as his galactic character Peter Quill. "Star Lord (@prattprattpratt) cheered up our patients by sharing #GuardiansOfTheGalaxy! Thanks for making them smile!" the hospital tweeted.

In a recent interview with Panzer TV, the actor admitted that he took some of his GOTG costume home with him for a time such as this. "I stole the jacket and some of the wardrobe so that, if this movie comes out and does what everyone hopes it can, I can follow the example of someone -- say, like, a Russell Wilson, you know -- and go visit kids."

As if that wasn't enough, Pratt also surprised patient Dylan Prunty, a boy with a mitochondrial disorder, by reading lines from his other film The Lego Movie. Prunty is known around the hospital as "Lego Kid."
