Ted 2 is shaping up to have some real star power!
Seth MacFarlane returns as the foul-mouthed teddy bear next summer along with his best bud, Mark Wahlberg. On Wednesday, the comic mastermind has revealed two new high profile castings for the sequel.
MacFarlane confirmed that both Morgan Freeman and Liam Neeson will join the comedy via his Twitter account. It's not yet clear what type of roles they each will be playing, but we are pretty confident that whatever they do will be hilarious.
The hit 2012 film memorably featured a cameo from Flash Gordon (aka Sam Jones) as a heightened version of himself – snorting cocaine and fighting with a neighbor named Ming.
Mila Kunis is not expected to return for the sequel (she's understandably busy). Amanda Seyfried has been tapped to play Wahlberg's new love interest.
The last time MacFarlane, Seyfried and Neeson teamed up on screen, things didn't go so well. A Million Ways to Die in the West was a flop at the box office this summer, but here's hoping their new venture will fare better. Ted has grossed nearly $550 million globally since the film's 2012 debut.
What do you think of the Ted 2 cast? The sequel hits theaters June 26, 2015.
