This weekend, Brad Pitt's Fury opened big, and took on reigning champ Gone Girl, starring Ben Affleck. Between the two, Fury blew Gone Girl out of the top spot with a $23.5 million dollar bow, which was still smaller than Gone Girl's first weekend ($35.5 million) or even it's second ($26.4 million.)
Clearly, the films are well-matched adversaries, but how about Pitt and Affleck as performers? How do they stack up? Well, this week's Celebrity Showdown is here to answer
that question once and for all.
They've both got Oscars, they've both got accolades and they've both got embarrassing projects in their distant pasts. So, looking at seven unique criteria that weighs box-office earnings, critic's reviews and award season gold, Celebrity Showdown examines the anatomy of both stars' careers to show who's really the best.
