Will the 'Fast and Furious' Franchise Continue?

With Fast and the Furious 7 coming out next year on April 3, there is a lot of buzz about whether this will be the last installment.

At The Hollywood Reporter's annual film executive roundtable, Universal Chairman Donna Langley was asked about the franchise. She said, "We think there's at least three more… I think it's still a growing franchise. We'll see what happens with Furious 7, obviously, but our box office has grown over the past three or four films and internationally, in particular. So we think that there's more to mine there."

Fans can rejoice at the thought of 10 Fast and Furious movies, but one question remains: How will the franchise continue without actor Paul Walker?

At the roundtable, Langley brought up Walker saying he "is and always will be, an integral part of the story."

After Walker tragically died in a car crash during Fast 7's filming, the movie continued in his honor. Paul's brothers stepped in as his body doubles in the seventh installment.

In the film's trailer, fellow actor and friend Vin Diesel says, "I don't have friends. I got family," cuing a heart-wrenching close-up of the late Walker.

Vin Diesel also spoke to ET about how hard it was to film the movie without him. "When you've worked with someone for 15 years and you know each other's idiosyncrasies and you've created magic together for so long, it's a strange thing to mourn that person and simultaneously pretend that person is next to you."

In a new interview with ET that airs tomorrow, Paul Walker's father sat down with Nancy O'Dell. Tune in for never before seen movies and pictures of Paul.
