For the first time since 2001, Jurassic Park is back in business.
The highly anticipated sequel – titled Jurassic World – doesn't hit theaters until June 12, 2015, but the 21-second teaser wets fans’ appetites with three references to the first film.
One homage to the 1993 dinosaur movie is the giant doors opening into the park.
Up next are the dinosaurs shooting past the car, similar to a memorable scene in Steven Spielberg's original movie.
Then there's Bryce Dallas Howard turning around in the control room which is similar to when Samuel L. Jackson turned around to his colleagues and said, "Hold on to your butts."
Starring Dallas Howard, Chris Pratt, Judy Greer and Jake Johnson, the action-packed movie -- directed by Colin Trevorrow -- takes place 22 after the events of Jurassic Park. Isla Nublar now features a fully functioning dinosaur theme park, Jurassic World, as originally envisioned by the late John Hammond.
The first full-length trailer for Jurassic World will be unveiled during NBC's Thanksgiving football on Thursday.
