Want to know all of Captain America's deepest, darkest secrets? Enlist as a S.H.I.E.L.D. agent at The Marvel Experience: The World’s First Hyper-Reality Tour and you can. And ET has the exclusive first look!
The Marvel Experience is a first-of-its-kind traveling showcase that features a 3-D stereoscopic Dome, a 4-D motion ride, and other fancy techno words like “augmented reality, multi-person gaming and RFID progress tracking.”
Translation: AWESOME, REALLY COOL STUFF.
"Users first start by registering as a recruit," producer Mike Bundlie explains. "Once they’ve registered, they get access to information that would otherwise be top secret.” From there, they will fight alongside the likes of Spider-Man and Iron Man in an epic battle against villains Red Skull, M.O.D.O.K. and an army of evil Adaptoids.
Which is not the plot of Avengers: Age of Ultron but still sounds pretty damn cool. And who can say no to Hulk Smashing alongside The Hulk?!
And it’s not all virtual reality: There will be real-life, life-size Quinjet too!
Which means, better than playing superhero with Spidey and Wolverine, we can all pretend to be everybody’s favorite S.H.I.E.L.D. agent: Maria Hill! Cobie Smulders cosplayers, assemble!
And no proper Marvel production would be complete without a Stan Lee cameo.
The tour will hit Phoenix from Dec. 19 to Jan. 3, Dallas Jan. 15 to Feb. 1, San Diego from Feb 7. To Feb. 22, and San Francisco from Feb. 27 to March 22, before moving to the East Coast. Tickets and more information available here.
