The Suicide Squad cast had an intense bonding experience when Margot Robbie showed up on set with a tattoo gun, giving most of her co-stars a permanent memento of the movie.

"Picture what a 4-year-old would draw and stick it on your fridge. That's kind of one of my tattoos," Robbie told ET. "Like little stick figures."

Cara Delevingne, 23, was one of the people who offered their body as Robbie's canvas, but she also returned the favor.

"I tattooed her toes and she tattooed mine as well," Delevingne said.

One person who didn't take part in getting inked was Will Smith.

"I'm a grown-a** man," Smith said with a laugh. "Margot comes bounding into work with all of her 24-year-old glory like, 'Guys! Guys! I got a tattoo gun! I got a tattoo gun! We're all getting tattoos!' I was like, 'No, we're not.'"

In Suicide Squad, some of the world's most notorious supervillains are recruited by the government to execute dangerous black ops missions in exchange for clemency. What makes it different from other comic book movies is that there are, in fact, no good guys.

Characters include Deadshot (Smith), the world's deadliest and most accurate marksman, Joker (Jared Leto), Batman's arch nemesis, Harley Quinn (Robbie), the Joker's psychotic sidekick and lover, and Dr. Amanda Waller (Viola Davis), the head of the top secret group formed by the government to create a counterforce to the Justice League should they go rogue.

Davis was a no-brainer to play Waller, as the role is not unlike her How to Get Away With Murder character, Annalise Keating. But Davis says Waller is even more hard-nosed.

"Amanda Waller would whoop Annalise's behind," Davis said. "[Annalise] drinks too much vodka."

Suicide Squad opens in theaters on Friday.
