Here's a look at some of the craziest outfits the 'Suicide Squad' rocked on Monday night.

The Suicide Squad knows how to dress for a red carpet.

When the cast of the hotly anticipated superhero epic turned out at the film's New York Premiere on Monday, some stars came dressed to impress in outfits more outlandish than their over-the-top characters.

Margot Robbie, who plays crazy troublemaker Harley Quinn, stunned in a black and gold gown that almost looked totally normal -- until you noticed that it featured a giant unicorn.

As for Jared Leto, who stars as the Joker, his long blue coat embroidered with flowers and a giant lion's head on the back went a long way toward perpetuating his well-cultivated air of wild insanity.

Adam Beach, who plays the hitman Slipknot, also came decked out in an ensemble befitting his murderous character, rocking a leather jacket emblazoned with a Suicide Squad logo on the back.

While Cara Delevingne went for a more subtle strangeness, her heavy, dark make-up and quasi-post-apocalyptic, semi-sheer dress looked like a fancier version of something her character, Enchantress, would think about wearing to prom.

Not everyone got the "Dress Like a Lunatic" memo, though. Will Smith, Viola Davis and Ike Barinholtz looked sharp in some simple, classy ensembles.

They looked even more hilariously out of place while posing together with their wackier cast mates.

In the end, there's one important thing to take away from the Suicide Squad premiere: Jared Leto can pull off looking like a mad man with serious aplomb.
