Robert Downey Jr., Chris Pratt and Tom Holland all got together on the first day of filming on Jan. 23 to share their thoughts on reprising their superhero roles for Infinity War and it's unnamed sequel back-to-back.

"This is our first day. Here we are at Pinewood in Atlanta, and it's actually pretty unbelievable," Pratt announced on an impressive green-screen set, dressed in his full Star-Lord gear.

"Day one of what promises to be a year of fun-filled lensing," added Downey, who plays Iron Man.

"I remember actually going to see the first Avengers with one of my best mates from home, and I would never have dreamed that I would ever be in one of these movies, let alone playing Spider-Man," confessed Tom Holland, aka Spider-Man. "I feel like I'm on top of the world, because this is just mind-blowing."

ET caught up with Downey in December, where he opened up about starting production on Infinity War, and gushed about Holland's portrayal of Spider-Man.

"We have a start date! That's, you know, when you start shooting," he joked. "So I have yet to be released from my Marvel contract! You heard it here first!"

"That Tom Holland guy is something else," he said, adding that he's "really excited at the way [Spider-Man] is being reimagined."

Avengers: Infinity War
will hit theaters on May 4, 2018.
