When you hit it off, sometimes you really hit it off...
Kurt Russell appeared on Harry on Friday, where the Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 star recalled his first date with Goldie Hawn. Unlike many first dates, it was not at all uneventful.
"There was no place to dance," the 66-year-old actor revealed, noting that he and Hawn had gone to the Playboy Club in search of a place to cut a rug together. "We never got around to that ... Next thing we knew, she was renovating this house, that Kate [Hudson, the couple's daughter] now owns."
"We eventually found our way upstairs ... we're realistically having sex, when the police walk in, because we had to break into the place to get in," he continued. "Next thing I know there's a flashlight, and Goldie and I are like, 'What?'"
"We were being told, I guess, to go get a hotel room, which we did," Russell added, laughing. "That was our first date."
Sounds like quite the night!
Russell and Hawn, who have been together since 1983, opened up to ET on the GOTG 2 carpet on Wednesday about their long-lasting love.
“I’m always proud of him, and I’m proud of him with this [film], but I haven’t seen the movie yet!” Hawn, 71, sweetly raved about her partner.
"She’s honest,” Russell, agreed, while Hawn chimed in, “He’s never bad."
Meanwhile, another person Hawn respects greatly is Amy Schumer.
