Could Carmen Electra be heading back to Baywatch?

ET's Lauren Zima caught up with the 45-year-old actress at the Race to Erase MS Gala at the Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles on Friday, where she confirmed that she won't be appearing in the upcoming Baywatch movie, but said that she's open to making a cameo in a possible sequel.

"I'm so excited about the Baywatch movie. I had a wonderful meeting with everyone and I think it's going to be a lot of fun," Electra said of the film, which is set to hit theaters on May 25. "You know, Baywatch was the number one show in the world, so why not bring it back?"

"I'm honored to have even been a part of the whole Baywatch, it's so huge! To this day it's still on regular TV in all these different countries," she added.

Electra, who starred as Lani McKenzie in the show from 1997 to 1998, is hoping the movie will be just as popular as the series -- so she can have part in the sequel.

"[I'm] not in this one, but we did talk abut if there's a sequel, doing something in a sequel," she revealed. "I was really happy to have a meeting with them, and they were so kind and we're coming up with some ideas, so I'm really excited."
