Marvel is throwing things back to the ‘90s!

During their Hall H panel at Comic-Con on Saturday, Marvel dished on their upcoming Captain Marvel film, starring Oscar winner Brie Larson, and revealed -- gasp! -- a two-eyed Nick Fury!

That’s because Captain Marvel takes place before the events of the first Iron Man film, before smartphones, before Tom Holland's Peter Parker was even born. That’s right, Captain Marvel is a ‘90s girl!

The film, in which Larson will star as Carol Danvers, an Air Force pilot with superpowers, will also feature the first Marvel Cinematic Universe appearance of the Skrulls, the extraterrestrial shapeshifters who have famously antagonized the Fantastic Four and the Avengers, and fought prolonged wars against the Kree.
