Disney Princess Movies Are Returning to Theaters -- See Which Classics Are Headed Back to the Big Screen!

Fans of all ages will get the chance to see some of the greatest animated classics in theaters for the first time in years.

Some of Disney's greatest princesses are returning to theaters!

As part of AMC Theaters' Dream Big, Princess marathon, the theater chain is partnering with Walt Disney Studios to bring five of their most iconic princess films back to the big screen in select locations across the country.

The five-week celebration will showcase a few of Disney's greatest princesses beginning with Belle in Beauty and the Beast, Fa Mulan in Mulan, Rapunzel in Tangled, Tiana in The Princess and the Frog and Merida in Brave.

Each animated classic will enjoy 14 showtimes per week, at 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. daily, beginning Sept. 17 and coming to a close on Oct. 19. There will also be a special encore presentation of Moana during the marathon. Tickets go on sale Aug. 4.

There are 11 official Disney princesses in total, including the five who will be featured in the AMC celebration. Among those not featured are Snow White, Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty's Aurora, The Little Mermaid's Ariel, Aladdin's Jasmine, and Pocahontas.
