They are Lady Gaga's labelmate and their new single "Like a G6" is soaring on the charts! ET's got the scoop on Far East Movement, the first Asian-American group to land on the mainstream pop charts!
Also known as FM, the group's hit song "Like a G6" is currently No. 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 list and has reached No. 1 on iTunes. Adding to the song's popularity, "Jersey Shore" star Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi simply tweeted "Like a G6" on Tuesday.
Far East Movement -- comprised of Kev Nish, Prohgress, J-Splif and DJ Virman -- are signed to Cherry Tree/Interscope Records. They began as interns at the publicity department of Interscope Records.
The group splashed on the scene in 2009 when their hit "Girls on the Dance Floor" rose to No. 1 on Los Angeles radio, and their music was then featured on shows like "Entourage," "Gossip Girl" and "CSI."
