It appears their separation will be permanent, as Christina Aguilera has filed for divorce from husband Jordan Bratman.
According to court papers obtained by ET, she lists "miscellaneous jewelry and other personal effects" as separate property. She also references their prenuptial agreement to claim "separate property assets and obligations of each party."
The singer cites "irreconcilable differences" behind their split. She is also seeking joint custody of their son, Max.
Christina told ET just two days ago that "Although Jordan and I are separated, our commitment to our son Max remains as strong as ever."
The couple began dating in 2002 and married November 19, 2005 in Napa Valley, CA. The couple's son, Max, was born in January, 2008.
