Dancer, singer and actress Julianne Hough appeared at last night's Country Music Awards and chatted with ET about her exciting new film roles.

Julianne took on her first movie role in 'Burlesque,' opening November 24 and she seemed to enjoy the experience: "It was such a fun movie to be a part of with the amazing cast and ensemble," Julianne said about the movie, which also stars Cher and Chistina Aguilera. "It was such a fun, easy transition, so I definitely learned a lot from it..."

The triple threat also finished shooting a remake of the classic movie 'Footloose,' scheduled to be released in 2011.

"Obviously there's a lot of pressure being Ariel in 'Footloose,' because it's such an iconic role," Julianne told us. "But at the same time, there was so much growth that the director and the writer put into her character, so there was a lot more development for her... It was really fun for me to kind of portray in my own way."

Watch the video to find out Julianne's plans for her upcoming album Wildfire.
