On the same day that her highly anticipated film 'Burlesque' premieres in Los Angeles -- vocal powerhouse Christina Aguilera received her very own Hollywood Walk of Fame star!

"This is an incredible staple in my whole life, and I'm so happy you're all here to share it with me," Christina said before talking about her childhood dreams to make it in Hollywood as a performer. The singer/actress also thanked her mother, family and fans for their support.

In addition, Christina gave thanks to co-star Cher, saying the two formed a friendship after shooting 'Burlesque.' Watch the video for more, and catch 'Burlesque' in theaters on November 24.
