Michael Cera is trading his adorable nerd persona for a rock star status, and ET has the details on his upcoming tour with an indie supergroup.
The 'Scott Pilgrim Vs. the World' actor is hopping on the West Coast leg of the band Mister Heavenly's tour, and he's on bass, music website Pitchfork Media confirmed.
Mister Heavenly consists of some household names in indie rock including Modest Mouse's Joe Plummer. Pitchfork reports that the band's new label Sub Pop has yet to confirm whether Cera is a permanent member of the group.
This wouldn't be the first time we've seen the actor in a band. In his films 'Scott Pilgrim Vs. the World' and 'Nick & Norah's Infinite Playlist' he played the roll of a bass player.
