Monica Becomes a Basketball Wife

January 21, 2011"The Boy is Mine" singer slam-dunked herself a husband. Monica has joined Khloe Kardashian in an elite group of Lakers wives. She secretly wed Shannon Brown last year.
The star exclusively told HipHollwood.com, "This is a very special time in my life. I am blessed to have married the man that God sent me. He's loving, compassionate, strong and supportive of my children, family and career. I look forward to our lives together."
The couple celebrated their nuptials at their Los Angeles home on November 22. They plan to renew their vows in a more elaborate ceremony this summer and may expand their family in the near future.
