Jewel Reveals She's Having a Baby Boy

January 24, 2011Recording artist Jewel will soon be singing lullabies to a baby boy, according to People.
"We would have been happy either way, of course, but we are so excited to be having a little boy," she gushed to the magazine.
Jewel and her husband, rodeo star and former "Dancing with the Stars" contestant, Ty Murray, can now proceed in converting a guest bedroom into a nursery for their son. The dad-to-be said, "I have to admit, I was doing a little dance on our way out of the doctor’s office when we found out!"
Married since 2008, this will be the first child for the Texas-based couple. They announced the pregnancy on January 11.
