Some girlfriends paint one another's nails to bond. But while on tour in Asia, Taylor Swift brought trust to a whole new level when she whipped out the scissors to trim her tourmates' hair.

In a new video blog, Taylor proved that she can both strum and snip with her talented hands. Before trimming her locks, she eased one friend's jitters by reminding her she was getting a "free" haircut.

In her candid video blog, the country phenom also shared her memoirs of being a geisha. She and her entourage were transformed into geishas and samurais during a day off in Tokyo, Japan.

The Asian tour also took her to Singapore, Seoul, Osaka, Manila, and Hong Kong. She was greeted by swarms of fans every stop along the journey. Aside from performances, Taylor and her crew enjoyed being tourists. Taylor explains in the video that she was fascinated by waving cat statues at a market in Singapore. The songstress also discovered a new instrument that combines a clarinet and piano into one. Lastly, she drew a heart in the sand in Hong Kong to show her love to fans.
