Sonic Youth - Hits Are For Squares (8/23/11)
NYC-based alternative rock band Sonic Youth are releasing their compilation album, Hits Are For Squares. The album, now available everywhere after only being originally released through limited outlets, contains a collection of songs the group's career curated by various artists, actors, directors and musicians whose style is comparable to the iconic band. Some of those same artists that were specifically chosen by Sonic Youth include Radiohead, Beck, Gus Van Sant, Catherine Keener, The Flaming Lips and more.
