Barenaked Ladies - Snacktime! (8/9/11)
Multi-platinum rock group Barenaked Ladies reissued their 2008 effort, Snacktime, a 24-song assortment of children's songs released through their Desperation Records. imprint. Band member Ed Robertson explained the reason for their against-the-grain album, stating, "Our collective kids now outnumber the band more than 2 to 1." As the group navigates their way through family life, this record is for the kid's enjoyment. "Not strictly a children's record, but a record that children would really enjoy," Robertson admitted. "Making the focus about what our kids like was a truly liberating process and fun for the whole band."
