Thundercat - The Golden Age of Apocalypse (8/30/11)
Bassist/vocalist Stephen "Thundercat" Bruner drops his debut album, The Golden Age of Apocalypse. Producer Flying Lotus perfectly illustrates the sonic landscape on the album that could be put in an experimental jazz-fusion genre if there was one. The 13-track album certainly brings a futuristic soul sound that has to be heard to get the grasp of the simple complexity of it all.
