Joe Jonas will be making his first set of public performances separate from his hit band The Jonas Brothers by joining pop star Britney Spears on tour as her opening act.
In a new interview with People, Jonas talks about teaming up with Spears for his first solo outing. "It's a dream come true," Jonas said. "She was the first girl I ever had a poster on my wall of, and her album was the first CD I ever bought. It's so funny to think I had that on my wall and here I am about to perform with her."
Jonas will join Spears's Femme Fatale tour on August 5, 2011 for one date in the US and then for nine dates in Europe. He will open for the pop star and will be promoting his upcoming solo album "Fastlife" which is due out on October 11, 2011.
