Watch: Adele's First ET Interview

Adele has enjoyed a great deal of success since coming stateside, something the countless covers of her songs can attest to. In honor of the talented singer, we're taking a look back at her first interview with ET!

We caught up with England's singing sensation on the set of Ugly Betty back in 2009 as she was getting ready to make a cameo on the hit sitcom. She played herself on an episode, something she gives America Ferrera credit for.

"Some of the producers from the show came down to this gig I did in New York," Adele said. "I think America kind of persuaded them to come and check it out."
