Taylor Swift, Jason Aldean, Brad Paisley and Blake Shelton will be the ones to beat this year at The 45th Annual Country Music Awards.
With five nominations each, Taylor, Jason, Brad and Blake will be the most nominated artists of the night with The Band Perry and Zac Brown Band trailing slightly with four noms.
The Band Perry and Jake Owen announced the nominees in the heart of Times Square on Tuesday morning on Good Morning America. The surrounding crowd whooped and applauded when The Band Perry was announced as a nominee in the category for Vocal Group of the Year along with Lady Antebellum, Little Big Town, Rascal Flatts and Zac Brown Band.
Taylor Swift, who at 19 became the youngest to ever be awarded the CMA's highest honor of Entertainer of the Year, was nominated for Female Vocalist of the Year, Album of the Year, Music Video of the Year, Song of the Year and Entertainer of the Year.
Jason Aldean, Blake Shelton, Keith Urban and Brad Paisley, who is co-hosting the event with Carrie Underwood, are also vying for the CMA's top prize.
