Big Boi, one half of the hip hop duo Outkast, has accepted a plea deal to avoid jail time, according to Billboard.com.

The rapper, whose real name is Antwan Patton, was in a Miami courtroom today when prosecutors proposed a deal that included three months of drug testing, community service and $2,000 in charitable donations.

The 36-year-old Patton faced two felony drug charges in August after cops arrested him while he was in possession of ecstasy pills, MDMA powder, Viagra and other substances. If the rapper remains drug-free during the testing period, the charges will be dropped.
