Singer Etta James Terminally Ill From Leukemia

Etta James has been facing some health issues in recent years but the singer is now terminally ill, according to the Associated Press.

James' live-in doctor, Dr. Elaine James (no relation) told the Riverside Press-Enterprise that the At Last singer's chronic leukemia was declared incurable two weeks ago. Dr. James has cared for the 73-year-old singer at her Riverside, CA home since March 2010.

Dr. James, as well as Etta herself, are asking for prayers during this unfortunate time for the singer. It's been reported that she also suffers from dementia and kidney failure.
