Add Casey Abrams to the lengthy list of American Idol Season 10 contestants who have scored record deals.

According to EW, Abrams signed yesterday with jazz recording label Concord Records, which has housed Tony Bennett, Kenny G, Barry Manilow, and former American Idol judge Paula Abdul.

Abrams displayed refined musical skills as an American Idol contestant, and was the season's most eccentric and expressive performer.

The 20-year-old Texas native who finished in sixth place on Idol will now be scatting along with his upright bass in the recording studio.

In response to the exciting news, Abrams filmed a video clip of his joyful reaction to the signing.

Abrams joins winner Scotty McCreery, runner-up Lauren Alaina, third-place Hailey Reinhart, fourth-place James Durbin, and ninth-place Pia Toscano to become the sixth contestant of Idol's Season 10 to sign a record deal.
