In another case of talent being recognized despite not winning it all, The X Factor runner-up Chris Rene has signed a record deal.
According to EW, the crooner confirmed that he will be officially signing to Epic Records after finishing third in the show's first season.
"I've dreamt about this moment my whole life, and now it's here," Rene said. "Working with L.A. Reid is a dream come true."
Rene was one of the most watched performers on the show due to his compelling backstory and obvious talent.
