Less than a week away from The Hunger Games premiere, Taylor Swift debuted her second song on the movie's soundtrack, Eyes Open.
The 22-year-old music phenom surprised thousands of screaming fans in New Zealand during a concert at Vector Arena in Auckland over the weekend.
"You don't think I'd get in trouble if I played it now?" Taylor asked the crowd, which immediately erupted in hysterics.
Taylor's lyrics evoke the somber emotions of someone being suddenly confronted by the harsh reality of a life and death situation.
"Yesterday we were just children / Playing soldier just pretending / Dreaming dreams with happy endings," she sang. "In backyards, waging battles with the wooden swords / But now we've stepped into a cruel world / Where everybody stands and keeps score."
