Madonna made a surprise visit to Miami on Saturday, surprising the 165,000 fans at the Ultra Music Festival with her first appearance at the event.

"In my world the words 'music' and 'dance' are not separated. Electronic music has been a part of my life since the beginning of my career. I can honestly say that a DJ saved my life."

Launched in 1999, the ULTRA Music Festival is the world's premier outdoor electronic music event.
